The 2008 Shoot for the Loot program is available only to the 2008 ONSP club members. The program is based upon earning points at the regular ONSP monthly matches (Jan. thru Oct.). The accumulated points by each participant during the duration of the program will determine the final rank and awards in each SASS category with participants.

This will be a 10 month program (Jan. thru Oct.) with each registered participant earning points in each monthly match they attend in 2008. After the regular ONSP December monthly match concludes, we will have a Shoot for the Loot dinner and recognition ceremony along with the annual club membership meeting. Your Shoot for the Loot entry fee will include you in the year end festivities.

Monthly Points Schedule (per match)

Attendance: 1 point for each match you attend.

Shooting Category:
5 points for first place in category
4 points for second place in category
3 points for third place in category
2 points for fourth place in category
1 point for fifth place in category

Clean Match: 5 points

With the exception of one special shooting category, you may only accumulate points in the category you signed up for on your Shoot for the Loot entry form. You may shoot in other categories during the year but you will only be awarded points for shooting in the category you chose on your Shoot for the Loot entry form. Choose your category wisely!! For those cowboys/cowgirls who like to shoot in different categories during the year, we have the wide open Wild West Cowboy/Cowgirl shooting category. You may shoot in a different shooting category at each monthly match and accumulate points each month if you sign up for Wild West Cowboy/Cowgirl.

The place in category points awards are determined by your rank in category against the other Shoot for the Loot shooters in that category for that month. This would include Wild West Cowboy/Cowgirl shooters in a category that month.

Year End Bonus Points (earned and applied after the October match)

6 points for attending 6 of the 10 matches (60%)
7 points for attending 7 of the 10 matches. (70%)
8 points for attending 8 of the 10 matches. (80%)
9 points for attending 9 of the 10 matches. (90%)
15 Points for attending all 10 matches. (100%)

If a match is cancelled for bad weather the same points schedule above will be based upon the percentage of attendance. Ex. If only 9 matches are held and you attend 5 of them, you would get 6 points for 60% attendance (9 x 60% = 5.4 matches round down to 5 matches would get the 6 points. Etc..)
